Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has revealed in a recent interview that his former manager, Pep Guardiola, who he had a fall-out with during the latter stages of his career at the club, is a genius. Toure spent a couple of years at Manchester City and he established himself as one of the club’s best players during his reign, while also cementing his spot in the category of the best midfielders in the world in his generation.

Months passed, and Toure further fell down the pecking order at the club as Guardiola started building his own team he deemed fit to challenge for titles. He began exiling a couple of other stars he met at the club, and You’re was the player on the list of the sidelined stars.
After Toure finally ended his nightmare at the club and left the Etihad Stadium, he held an interview that went viral after he claimed that Guardiola does not like players that are dark-skinned. He said in the interview that one evidence he had was how Benjamin Mendy was also treated, citing that the manager preferred white players to black ones.
However, only recently, he held another interview where he revealed that he sent an apology to Pep, but that he never got a response. He then rounded up by saying that the Spanish manager is a genius and once more apologized for his words.
