Xavi himself said that Scholes was the best midfielder of his generation, but what credit did he get? Many other players, Zidane included, said the same of him. English players do not get the credit they deserve.

As much as it pains me to say it, as a United fan, youre probably right, really wanted to say Scholes, but Yaya is just a straight Juggernaut, his speed and defensive qualities for me are what make him stand out from Scholsey, apart from that Scholes is just a pure blueprint for a world class midfeilder (imo).

29 is nothing really, look at scholes, giggs, parker, carrick, all top class players. Wiltshire has the potential to be a PL great, as long as he stays out of the injuries list.

Watch videos of them, look at their statistics, understand that they played in a much harder league than La Liga. All evidence shows that they are better – accept the truth, even if you are Spanish.

wilshere is technically the best current english player, however he’s not a worldclass like say paul scholes, gazza or beckham. he’s injury prone and its arsenal style of play make him look better than he is tbh

i think gerrard and lampard are better than xavi in many aspects, xavi though is the better passer, but iniesta is ahead of them 3, he can dribbling and create scoring opportunisty for his teammates by passing and beating players. i don’t rate xavi along with the greats like zidane
