TOURE SAYS CITY ARE ALREADY AWAITING CHAMPIONS

Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has revealed that he thinks that his former club have already run away with the title and are just a few games away from being crowned the English Premier League Champions for the 2020-21 football season.

The former Ivory Coast midfielder said that with the dominance City are showing this season, no team can catch them, and they are on course to clinch yet another Premier League crown under manager Pep Guardiola.

YAYA TOURE HAS A NEW JOB

Manchester City legend Yaya Toure has a new job after making the transition from player to coach. The ex-Manchester City player spent several years at Manchester City and became a legend at the club before leaving two years ago. The 37-year-old has been appointed as the assistant manager at Olimpia Donetsk in the Ukranian first division. Yaya Toure will assist IhorKlymovskiy in the Olimpia Donetsk dugout thereby following in the footsteps of his brother, KoloToure. KoloToure is a former defender at Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in addition to the fact that he’s the assistant manager to Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City. KoloToure has played his part in the rise of Leicester City in the Premier League in recent years.

KoloToure has been at Leicester City since Brendan Rodgers was appointed as the replacement to the sacked Claude Puel in the middle of the penultimate season. Leicester City narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification last season with Brendan Rodgers and KoloToure but they are on course to secure Champions League qualification at the end of this season. YAYA TOURE NOT HANGING HIS BOOTS JUST YET

 

Manchester City legend Yaya Toure has revealed that he has no intention of retiring yet as he looks to continue playing football. The former midfielder who also played for Barcelona and Monaco Insists he has what it takes to still play at the highest level and should be given the chance to do so.

Arsenal’s new signing Thomas Partey has disclosed that he wishes to showcase the defending attributes of Michael Essien and the attacking masterclass of Yaya Toure in the Premier League. Yaya Toure is a legend of Manchester City and he is currently awaiting his next assignment after completing training sessions with the team Leyton Orient of EFL League Two side. In 2019 he played for Qingdao Huanghai, part of China League One side.


Today he talks about the need for change as Manchester club has not been able to secure a position in the UEFA Champions League under the leadership of Pep Guardiola. Indeed, Yaya had worked with Pep in FC Barcelona before Guardiola shipped him off to Manchester City. There he went on to become one of the greatest midfielders among the Premier League teams.

YAYA TOURE TO CONTINUE IN ASIA

 

Manchester City legend Yaya Toure is set to continue his career in Asia, per reports. The Ivorian’s deal with Chinese club Qingdao Huanghaihas ended but the 37-year old is keen on a new deal in Southeast Asia. His PR Agency Harcus Consultancy Group has confirmed this line of action despite the Covid-19 scare.


The former Nou Camp star was impressive in his Chinese stint, helping Qingdao win the title in the second tier and gaining a promotion to the Chinese top-flight. His backers are using his brand and fanbase to negotiate deals to remain in ASEAN – Southeast Asian – for a few more years. They hope to secure deals that will continually put him in the Asian market.

TOURE: PEPE WILL COME GOOD

Former Manchester City and Barcelona midfielder, Yaya Toure has declared that fellow country man Nicolas Pepe will come good for Arsenal. The Ivory Coast legend was speaking on a radio interview when he was asked about Pepe’s form with the Gunners.

Toure stated that it will be difficult for his fellow country man to settle immediately into his new environment. He admitted that Pepe has a huge talent but coming from Ligue 1 to the Premier League will take some time before the player can truly discover his peak form and produce consistently for his new club. Toure who worked with Arteta at Man City said he is convinced that the former Everton midfielder is the right man to bring the best out of Pepe.
